Antique Pewter Syrup Pitcher Hinged Lid with Morning Glory Finial Applied Handle
This is a very nice pewter syrup pitcher with a beautiful morning glory flower finial and a properly-working hinged lid.
It was purchased at auction from among a beautiful group of pewter collected by Charles W. Danforth, Baltimore, who was a proud member of the Pewter Collectors' Club as well as an enthusiastic collector for over 15 years, having been born and raised in Massachusetts and drawn to the early American collections throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic area
This is a lovely piece that has stood the test of time; exactly as shown.
