Lovely antique Anton Lang yellow ware pottery vase
This is the very Anton Lang who played the role of Jesus Christ in the Oberammergau Passion Play several times, and this is inscribed around the neck of the vase
This piece originated in Germany by the artist potter, Anton Lang, who passed away in 1938
Very nice antique condition; nothing that I would consider a chip or a crack, but there are some tiny fleabites around the top rim
Approximate measurements (may vary slightly): 3" high, 4" diameter overall, 1 7/8" diameter base
