This is a fantastic 3" Josh Simpson "Inhabited Planet" paperweight, signed and dated.
It is an earth-like planet - a large azure blue sphere having large mottled green and brown areas appearing to be continents, an area of applied mica, and a single yellow and amethyst at the northern pole. It is signed to the underside, "Simpson 1989" (with his signature large flowing "S") and numbered "4 / 121" and has a polished base with 3 rubber feet to prevent scratching.
