Outstanding opalescent coin spot kerosene or oil stand lamp The magnificent stem and base is a rare 1883 La Belle Glass Co. drip foot (as you can see, with the lip to catch drips) The font pattern is described in Thuro, book 2, page 101-j, in a footed hand lamp ("Angela") The stem / base is described in Thuro, book 3, page 15, made by the LaBelle Glass Co. One of the prettiest stems I've ever seen, with a spiral diagonal swirl over a band of vertical optic prisms - to top it off, embossed on the base is: "PAT. MAY 8 1883" This lamp is GORGEOUS!
