Pairpoint Pewter Footed Teapot Mod. P333 Bulbous Body Hinged Dome Lid 4 Paw Feet

A very nice find, this is a Pairpoint Pewter Model P333 Footed Teapot.

It is a distinguished piece featuring four paw-like feet, a bulbous body, flared rim around the lid base, hinged dome lid with simple baluster finial, and an elegant curved swan neck spout.

Provenance: Purchased at auction from the collection of Charles W. Danforth of Baltimore, a dedicated member of the Pewter Collectors' Club with over 15 years of collecting experience. Danforth's passion for early American pewter drew him throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic, where he built this exceptional group.

Condition: This is a lovely piece in good condition. The top knop has a very slight tilt—exactly as shown in photographs.

Approximate Measurements: 6 1/4" high 2 5/8" diameter top opening (side to side) 10" handle to spout 5 1/2" diameter base (foot to foot)
