Nice kerosene lamp with a weighted base, complete with burner having a wick and working snuffer
This lamp is embossed on the base with an elephant having front legs poised atop a ball; inside of the ball is the Sherwood logo (evidently the Sherwood forest with trees)
Also embossed on the base: "SHERWOODS, LTD. MANUFACTURERS BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND"
Nice used antique condition with some corrosion to outside of base (underneath) and a small dent on the shoulder
Shown in one pic with a chimney; no chimney included - this lamp will take a lipped chimney with approximately a 2 7/8" fitter rim
Approximate measurements (may vary slightly): 9 3/4" high to top of burner, 5 1/4" diameter base
