Bte SGDG Gardon Fluid Stand Lamp Antique w/ Burner Baluster Form & Stepped Base

Authentic 1800s whale oil lamp by Gardon of Macon, France, marked "Bte SGDG" (patented without government guarantee).

This baluster-form stand lamp features the original burner with wick intact and rests on a stepped base.

Approximately 10" high to burner top with a 4¼" diameter base. Presented in very nice antique condition as shown. The base exhibits a slight misshape consistent with age—a characteristic we preserve to maintain authenticity. Untested.

Vintage patina and wear are inherent to pieces of this era and add to their historical character.
