Matte museum finish, stylish Queen Anne style handles

Marked "BREWSTER  PEWTER  4504" 

Purchased at auction from among a beautiful group of pewter collected by Charles W. Danforth, Baltimore, who was a proud member of the Pewter Collectors' Club as well as an enthusiastic collector for over 15 years, having been born and raised in Massachusetts and drawn to the early American collections throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic area

This is a lovely piece that could use polishing; there is a small dent to the lid that is barely noticeable and could probably be pushed out - exactly as purchased
