Native American Hopi Pottery Bowl Miniature / Arizona State Museum Replica

Miniature replica of prehistoric Hopi pottery from Jedito, northeast Arizona, circa 1300–1600.

This piece was commissioned by Ernest Leavitt, retired curator of exhibits at the Arizona State Museum, and created by Ann Johnson. Each replica bears the initials "L J" on the base, authenticating its provenance.

Originally part of a private Virginia collection acquired from the Museum, this is piece #25 from the documented series. The bowl features characteristic squiggly geometric designs on each side, reflecting traditional Hopi artistic motifs. Crafted in vintage condition with authentic period-inspired detailing.

Approximate measurements: 2 3/16" diameter, 1" deep. A museum-quality collectible for those interested in Native American pottery, southwestern archaeology, and authenticated replicas of prehistoric ceramics.
