Native American Western Pueblo Pottery Bowl Miniature Arizona State Mus. Replica

This is a miniature replica of a Mimbres pottery bowl from the Western Pueblo people of southwestern New Mexico, circa 1100–1250.

This piece was commissioned by Ernest Leavitt, retired curator of exhibits at the Arizona State Museum, and created by Ann Johnson. Each replica bears the initials "L J" on the bottom.

Originally part of a private Virginia collection acquired from the Museum, this example is #130 from the series.
